Cheque Presentation At Scape
3.2.25Some of our team had the pleasure of visiting our Charity Partner Scape in Nottingham City Centre at the end of January, to attend a cheque presentation at their Board Meeting.
Scape supported Footprints and fellow East Midlands charity PASIC, as their charities of the year for 2024, and we were honoured to be presented with a cheque for an unbelievable £13,721!
The amount of money Scape colleagues and partners have raised for both our charities is life changing. This will pay for more than two of our families to attend our centre and our transformative services for a year, helping us to empower families and transform the lives of children living with disabilities.
Over the year Scape organised some fantastic fundraising events, including a very wet but fun football tournament, golf day, quiz night, rugby tournament, delicious cake sale, donated easter eggs for our families, and our Business and Charity Manager Stephen Frew also delivered an online webinar as part of National Inclusion Week.
Colleagues from Scape also spent time volunteering with us at a number of events, including The Richard Whitehead Foundation Run with Rich event, volunteering at our new site in Clifton and also taking part in the Robin Hood Half Marathon.
