Footprints Joins The Disabled Children's Partnership
30.8.23Footprints is thrilled to announce they have been accepted as a supporting member of the Disabled Children's Partnership (DCP).
The DCP is a growing coalition of more than 90 charities and organisations that have joined forces, working closely in partnership with parents, to campaign for improved health and social care for disabled children, young people and their families.
The long-term objective of the DCP campaign is:
“To ensure disabled children, young people and their families have access to the services they need and are entitled to, to ensure that services are joined up and delivered consistently, and to increase the quality of provision.”
As a supporter, Footprints will be able to provide open and constructive input, feedback and advice to DCP's Steering Group to assist in the development of the campaign.
This is another exciting opportunity for the Nottingham based charity and offers long-term improvements for our past, present and future Footprints Families, as well as potential future collaborations.
