Mollie's Volunteering Story

"I’ve had the opportunity to become a barista (ok I was just pouring hot water into a cup but 🤫)...

Visit the North Pole (well, it was just Hucknall but I did get to meet Santa)...

And run a Marathon (alright, I gave water to the actual runners but 🤐)...

All joking aside, volunteering always seemed like a bit of an overwhelming prospect for me, I was scared to take on more responsibility on top of a full time job and other commitments, but now I think to myself, why didn’t I start volunteering sooner!?

If nothing else, seeing what the centre offers for so many families is enough to make me want to volunteer for Footprints over and over again. Mollie ❤️
